Policies of the Grainger County Archives
The mission of the Grainger County Archives is to preserve county governmental records.
The Archives complies with Tennessee Code Annotated and the State of Tennessee’s open records policy, which requires state governments to make public records open and accessible for public inspection, in accordance with sound archives management principles and practices.
Although the volunteers at the Grainger County Archives are happy to perform simple look-ups in our available indexes, regrettably we do not have the resources to perform open-ended research requests. To request a simple look-up of a name in the available indexes, you may send an email or call the Archives.
